Located within the National Park Vicente Pérez Rosales the Osorno volcano puts us in a prime location to enjoy from above the lake region. Slightly shifted to the west of the Andes mountain range divides the waters of the lakes Todos Los Santos and Llanquihue, delimits the river of turquoise waters and was responsible for creating the Saltos del Petrohue.
The trek to the glacier starts one hour before sunrise, and in this way to receive the first light of day for the 1,800 meters. A show of orange colors and silhouettes projected or fleeting clouds and Patagonian winds. In all our trekking ascent takes about 3 hours walking in volcanic soil.
